The World's Gone Crazy

Undercover Love- A Korra/Winry fic (Unedited)

I told myself that I would do this one day, and dammit, I’ve finally done it!

Don’t ask me why I would crossover ship this.  I think it was a tumblr post I saw once or something.  I don’t know.

Also, the title doesn’t really have anything to do with the story.  I was just listening to this song on repeat while I was writing this and I couldn’t come up with anything else, so I figured, why not?

FMA 30 Day Challenge- Day 30

Day 30- What do you think happens to the characters after the series ended for good?

Ed and Winry got married and had lots of beautiful babies.

Al and Mei got married and had lots of beautiful babies.

Roy and Riza got married and had lots of beautiful babies.

Ling and Lan Fan got married and had lots of beautiful babies.

Olivier and Izumi became BFFs, then joined forces to take over the world.

Everyone else did whatever.

Seriously though, Roy and Riza probably continued towards their plans while Lan Fan remained Ling’s loyal servant.  I’d like to think they had happy endings, but there is a lot against them, particularly Roy and Riza.

What we saw in those photos at the end probably took place only a few years after the story was over, so who knows what happened after that?

Wow, that’s kind of a dark way to end this, isn’t it?

FMA 30 Day Challenge- Day 27

Day 27- What attracted you to the series overall?

The story, mostly.

That’s what keep me going with a series most of the time.  When I first read the back cover of volume 1 in High School, it only looked mildly interesting to me.  Not boring or anything, just not uber exciting.  When I finally read it, the wonderful plotline is what kept me going, and eventually it was the characters as well.  I’d grown to love these characters and wanted to see them find their peace and happiness in the final chapter.  I remember the horrible wait between chapters 104 and 105, and the hollow feeling I had after reading the final chapter and realizing it was all over.

It’s a beautiful series that I’m so glad I gave a second chance.

FMA 30 Day Challenge- Day 1

Because fuck you, I can SO do two at once!

Here we go.

Day 1- How were you exposed to the phenomenon that is Fullmetal Alchemist?

I don’t know when exactly I first heard of FMA, just that it was sometime during high school when I was getting into Death Note.  The school library had, I think, the first 3 or 4 volumes and I took the first one home with my one day for the weekend.  I’d read the back cover and figured it sounded okay.

I never read it.

I returned it a week or so later and forgot all about it for about two years until one day at Barnes and Noble.  I was browsing the manga section as I’m want to do and found that they had all available volumes of the series (then about 21).  I had some time to kill and needed something to read, so I figured what the hell?

I read the first volume and thought it was pretty good, so the next time I was at Barnes, I read the next two.  From there, every time I was at Barnes or Borders (RIP), I read one or two, or even three if I had the time, volumes until I was finally done with all the printed material and had to read the rest online.  I believe chapter 103 had just come out by that time.

I also started watching the first anime around that time, and later on Brotherhood.  I’ll get into my opinion of them later on.

So yeah, that’s how I found FMA.
